Interviewing Customers No. 3

Before I state my interview strategy, my product again is a water bottle that a had a detachable bottom compartment has a mold that fits smartphones, IDs, keys, and credit cards. This water bottle weighs 7.5 pounds with 12 ounces of water it it, as well. My interview strategy is to get people to realize that having an item that carries all your valuables in one place is a necessity and worth carrying the weight.
I asked again, random people in different places.

3. From this interview, I learned that when you change the strategy for questions to get people to realize what they need, the answers become exactly what you need to hear. I expected people to realize that even though the water bottle weighs, they still can benefit from having all of their valuables in one place.

  1. From your description I would love to see some kind of drawing to get a more tangible feel for what it would look like since I can't think of something like it. Also try embedding the videos but overall good work here is mine if you want to check it out. http://entgarrett.blogspot.com/2016/02/customer-interviews-no-3-final-attempt.html?showComment=1455564318035#c1892012325783545130

  2. I think it would be great to see a diagram of your product. A few of the people you interviewed didn’t seem to fully understand the product idea. It seems like the people you interviewed would be interested in the water bottle.
I didn’t do this specific post, but here is a link to my blog if you want to check it out! http://ent3003blog.blogspot.com/

  3. I love the design of your blog. Your concept is very unique and is something I would want to buy. My only concern is the weight of the bottle. It may be a good idea to add a clip or strap to the bottle, so you can attach it to your backpack or bag. Embedded YouTube links would be helpful for readers. I agree it is important to have your customer figure out what they want through guiding them with the questions you ask instead of just telling them want they need. I wish you the best of luck in your venture. If you have an opportunity please check out my blog at http://domdey10.blogspot.com/2016/02/customer-interviews-no-3.html
